Explanation of Thread ID
The Thread ID is a unique number identifying this fault.
Explanation of Date Logged
This is the date the fault was originally logged.
Explanation of Logged By
The person who logged the fault.
Logged On Behalf Of help
This is the person with the fault. It might be the same person who logged the fault.
System ID help
Each system (printer, computer etc) has a unique code assigned to it. This can usually be found on the front of the system, and consists of letters and numbers.
Fault help
Details of the fault as entered by the person logging the fault.
Assigned To help
The member of IT staff who is expected to resolve this fault.
Due Date help
Date by which the fault should be resolved.
Status help
Status will be either open or closed.
Update help
If the fault has been looked at by IT, updates will be listed here.
Comments help
Enter details of all steps undertaken to resolve the issue.
